New directives has been issued to the government forces and Ahlu Sunna Wal Jamah fighters in Guri El, this informs them of vacating the town to outside positions.
A committee of tradition elders comprising 11 elders tasked to come up with a solution to demilitarize the town has reached the consensus, with the help of AMISOM troops from Ethiopia and ordered both sides to move out the town.
Abdullaahi Warsame Farah is the deputy commissioner for Guri El; he told Goobjoog that this decision is to allow the displaced persons to return to their houses.
