NISA Intercepts Vehicles Ferrying Supplies to Al-shabaab

GOOBJOOG NEWS | LOWER SHABELLE: The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) has seized three vehicles loaded with electronic goods suspected to have been destined for the Al-shabaab militants
During the operation conducted on Thursday, the intelligence agency officials also arrested eight suspects who were transporting the goods, believed to be members of the terror group.
The vehicles were intercepted in the Afgoye district of the Lower Shabelle region by NISA officers, who also found a Ugandan citizen among the suspects.
NISA said that the electronic goods were intended to be used by the Al-shabaab militants to carry out attacks against the Somali people and security forces.
