NISA officers shoot dead suspected Al-shabaab militant in Mogadishu

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) officers have shot dead a suspected Al-shabaab militant and recovered assortment improvised explosive devises in Celasha-biyaha at the outskirts of Mogadishu.

During the operation, the officers intercepted a vehicle which was packed with explosive devices and shot dead the driver who attempted to flee from the officers.

The officers had been trailing the vehicle before intercepting it before shooting dead the driver.

The security forces in Mogadishu have intensified operations to clear all the districts from the Al-shabaab.
