One person killed and three others injured in mortar shell attack near Villa Somalia
One person has been killed and three others injured in motor shell attacks at a residence near the Presidential Palace where the country’s national leadership is meeting to finalise electoral process for the 2016 polls.
Witnesses told Goobjoog News four rounds of motor shells hit the Warda Nabada residential area which lies adjacently to Villa Somalia killing one person and injuring three others.
Villa Somalia has been hit a number of times in the past by motor shells. Similar motor shells hit the ministry of transport headquarters in Mogadishu last month destroying four vehicles and injuring one person.
