Over 70 Al-Shabaab Militants Killed in Air, Ground Offensives in Central Somalia

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MUDUG: Over 70 Al-Shabaab militants were killed in ground and air offensives by Somali and foreign forces on Saturday.

On Saturday night, 26 militants were killed in an airstrike in Jeeh-jeeh area in southern Mudug.

Earlier on the same day, government and allied militia killed 50 militants in several parts of Mudug region as the government ramps up offensives against Al-Shabaab in central parts of the country.
