Parliament approves PM Roble’s new cabinet
The Lower House has unanimously given the nod to Prime Minister Mohamed Roble’s new cabinet.
In today’s sitting, all the 188 lawmakers present voted in favour of the new council of ministers in a similar version as that of the PM early in the month.
The new government whose term of office is barely three months comprises of about half of the Hassan Khaire Government. Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Gulaid is among those who were retained alongside Abdirahman Beileh (Finance), Gamal Hassan (Planning), Ahmed Awad (Foreign Affairs) among others.
The new will lead the country to elections set to kick off from the start of December.
