PHOTOS: Two police chiefs among six dead in police station bombing

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Six people among them two police chiefs were killed Sunday night in a car bomb attack that hit a police station in Mogadishu.

Police confirmed that Waberi police commandant Ahmed Abdullahi Bashane and Waliyo Adde deputy police commandant colonel Abdi Basid died in the attack that happened about ten minutes to 11 pm local time. Six people were injured.

Most of the victims of the attack were police officers, sources said. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
