Planning Minister Holds Talks With USAID Chief Ahead of Development Vision Meeting
GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU: Planning Minister Mahamuud Faarah held talks with the Head of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Somalia, Sheri-Nouane Duncan-Jones.
The two sides discussed ways of strengthening the collaboration between the Ministry and USAID to enhance development efforts. Both officials discussed the agenda for the upcoming Development Vision 10+ meeting, aimed at advancing economic development, promoting democratic governance, and enhancing stability in the country.
During the meeting, they also agreed on ways to improve cooperation between the Ministry of National Planning and USAID, with a specific focus on enhancing collaboration in planning, monitoring, and evaluation to achieve visible development outcomes.
