PM Barre Credits Unity, Legal Reforms for Government Gains

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre on Wednesday said his government’s progress in security, politics and social development stems from stronger legal frameworks and national unity, as the administration showcased its record at a performance exhibition in Mogadishu.

Speaking at the “Dan-Qaran Government’s Performance Exhibition (2022–2025),” Barre said achievements across ministries and agencies reflected a shared national vision and solidarity.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, addressing the same event, praised the government for implementing key policies and laws vital to Somalia’s state-building, saying progress was built on coordinated planning rather than chance.

The exhibition highlighted projects and reforms carried out over the past three years, with both leaders stressing transparency, accountability, and confidence in public institutions.
