GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has said improvements were underway at Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport after he ordered upgrades to services and facilities earlier this month.

During an inspection visit, Barre said conditions at the airport had visibly improved compared to two weeks ago when he last passed through.

“These are two very different days … a change is visible at the airport,” he told reporters.

The prime minister directed airport officials to complete repairs to the cooling system and provide fresh water for passengers within a week. It was his second visit to the facility in a fortnight, reflecting his administration’s push to improve public service delivery.
