PM Barre Unveils 18-Member Team to Serve in Elections and Boundaries Commission

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: The Cabinet has approved the appointment of 18 members who will serve in the first National Elections and Boundaries Commission.

Prime Minister Hamze Barre unveiled the list Tuesday night following the passage of the election-related laws by the Federal Parliament.

The PM will now present the names to parliament for approval before they take office.

Below is the list of the appointed members:
