PM Hamza congratulates teachers as they mark “Somali Teachers’ Day”

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has congratulates Somali teachers as they commemorate the Somali Teachers Day commending their resilience and commitment in delivering their duties despite the challenges facing the country.

The Prime Minister said that the Government will give priority to the teachers by providing them the necessary equipment and training in order to provide quality education for the Somali children and youth.

So far, the Federal Government has employed at least new 3000 teachers since the beginning of the year who will be deployed in various parts of the country and has promised to employ another 3000 next year to ensure all schools have adequate teaching staff.
