PM Barre Meets Chinese Special Envoy to Horn of Africa

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Republic of Somalia Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre Tuesday held talks with the Chinese Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa, Ambassador Xue Bing in Mogadishu.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister thanked Ambassador Bing for his efforts in promoting peace and development in the Horn and expressed appreciation for China’s continuous support for Somalia.

On his side, Ambassador Bing reiterated China’s commitment to continue its support for Somalia in its journey towards stability and reconstruction.

Both sides emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
