PM Hamze stresses need to revamp directorate of Immigration

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Republic of Somalia prime Minster Hamza Abdi Barre has challenged the director of the directorate of Immigration and Naturalization to ensure delivery of quality services to the Somali people.

While inspecting the Center of the Immigration and Naturalization Directorate in Mogadishu, where he held meetings with the management and staff of the Agency, the Prime Minister noted that the department is a key link between Somalia and the rest of the world.

He therefore asked the Agency’s director to maintain the reputation at the department and properly represent Somalia globally.

The Prime Minister also spoke about the ongoing work of the Agency, assessing the fruits of the change in the leadership of the Immigration and Naturalization Directorate to accelerate the services it provides to the people and the Somali government.

The director of the Immigration and Naturalization Directorate, informed the Prime Minister about the development plan of the agency during his short term in office, saying that it has marked an administration free from corruption and abuse of power.
