PM Hassan Khaire heads to Puntland ahead of 20th anniversary celebrations

Prime Minister Hassan Khaire is today travelling to Garowe the capital of Puntland state.

 

Sources from the PM’s office indicate the PM will be visiting various towns in the state and will also be expected to attend the 20th anniversary celebrations of Puntland state.

Puntland state came into being in 1998 making it the oldest regional administration in Somalia. Presidential elections in the Puntland will take place later in the year.
