PM Roble meets with Saudi Ambassador to Somalia

GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU: His Excellency Mohamed Hussein Roble, has on Wednesday received in his office, the Saudi Ambassador to Somalia, Ahmed Bin Mohammed.

The two leaders discussed the existing ties between the brotherly nations and how to further strengthen the relations.

The Prime Minister and the Saudi Arab envoy discussed the drought situation in the country and how the Saudi government can lend a hand to alleviate the suffering of the drought-hit Somali population.

The meeting comes amid a report by IOM Somalia saying that deteriorating drought conditions in Somalia could displace over 1 million people by April if urgent action is not taken.
