Police in Mogadishu Arrest 23 People Suspected of Spate of Crimes

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Police in Mogadishu have arrested dozens of people suspected of being behind a spate of robberies, murders, and drug trafficking.

According to the police department, suspects were nabbed in a swoop across several parts of the city. This follows concerns by city residents of increased crime rates.

Police said the suspects will be arraigned in court once investigations are concluded. It also called on residents to report cases of crimes to any police station in the city.
