Presdent Qeybdiid: I urge clan militias in Saaho to lay down arms and take peace

The administration of Galmudug in Central Somalia called immediate halts of the bloodshed and unnecessary fighting in Saaho locality.

Galmudug president Abdi Hassan Awale Qeydiid asked the militias to cease fire instantly and stop violence.

“It is unfortunate for bloodshed to start, I urge the clan militias in Saaho locality  to lay down arms and take peace” President Qeydiid said.

On the other hand the administration of Himan and Heb in central Somalia noted that they will send delegations to mediate the clashes in Saaho locality.

Local people in the area say that over six people mostly from the warring sides died and many others wounded.
