President Farmajo addressed the 58th anniversary of Somalia independence
The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, HE Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo congratulated the Somali people on the 58th Anniversary of the Independence of the Southern Regions and the unity of North and southern regions of the country, which became the foundation of the Republic of Somalia.
President gives a speech on the occasion of commemoration was held in the House of Local Government Administration said that “In the days of independence, it teaches us to realize the aspirations of the nation, and today we have to hold hands together and be proud of our future.”
President Farmajo said the sense of unity and solidarity is common among the Somali people, despite difficult circumstances that we are going through.
“It is remarkable that the Somali people today have had a state of a government that is committed to the implementation and enhancement of the security and peace of the Somali people, the international recognition and full confidence, and is sure to fill the role of Somalia in the world. ”
The event was attended by the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia Hassan Ali Khair, the speaker of the parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Mursal Sheikh, the Second Deputy Chairman of the Upper House Honorable Mowlid Hussein Guhaad, Governor of Banadir region and the mayor of Mogadishu Mr. Abdirahman Omar Osman, members Members of the Government and Army Committees,
The event was also attended by Djiboutian Defense Forces and Defense Ministers, diplomats, artists and Djiboutian military officers who came to Mogadishu to share their joy with their Somali brothers.
