President Farmajo Confirms in 2020 Elections

The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmajo has confirmed that the country will conduct in the upcoming 2020 elections.

The president noted that the other governments before him use to start to prepare for the election in the last days but he added to confirm that his government is different and will start to prepare as early as possible to get ready for the one person election to be conducted in the whole country in 2020.

“It was common for the former election committees to start late time to prepare and leave everything incomplete but for four or five months coming in my government we decided to act in the way elections to 2020, so that everything can come true at the right time and correct leadership will be elected to the will of the people from the whole country.

“The president Farmajo said “it is important that this country takes an election to everyone’s participation in order to make changes.”

In 2020, it is expected that one person election will be conducted in the country by participating in many Somali populations.
