President Farmajo to meet president Gelleh of Djibouti to strengthen ties
President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo’s arrived in Djibouti last night together with his delegation after two days official visit in Burundi.
They were met and welcomed at the Airport by some Djiboutian high-ranking members of the cabinet.
President Farmajo is today expected to meet with his Djiboutian counterpart Ismail Omar Gelleh, to discuss the fraternal bilateral relations and the security cooperation between the two countries.
The relationship between the two brotherly nations share objectives of the peace progress, unity and share same interest between the two countries which are based on the long history of the two nations.
Djibouti is one of five East African countries who contributed troops to the AU’s mission in Somalia, who are battling Al Shabaab for ten years.
