President Farmajo’s second visit to Djibouti
The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, HE Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, makes his second visit to Djibouti on Thursday.
The spokesperson of the President, Abdinur Mohamed confirmed the departure of president Farmajo to visit Djibouti.
The president will be accompanied by ministers, lawmakers and other members of the Somali government and this comes after a delegation from Eritrea arrived in Mogadishu.
The president will meet with his Djibouti counterpart Ismail Omar Gulled to discuss further strengthening bilateral ties between our two countries. Somalia and Djibouti share strong brotherly bonds.
it is not yet clear whether President Farmajo will talks with the leaders of Djibouti over Djibouti-Eritrea border dispute.
A border dispute between Djibouti and Eritrea resulted in armed clashes in June 2008, leaving several people dead from both sides.
