Somali cabinet hold extraordinary meeting in Mogadishu, the meeting attended by most ministers was chaired by the deputy prime minister and the minister for religious affairs Ridwan Hersi Mohamed.
The cabinet meeting in the capital was also attended by president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
During the meeting, the cabinet discussed wide range issues including security, disarmament operations and the firing of Somali spy chief Abdullahi Mohamed Ali Sanbalolshe.
After the meeting the deputy Prime minister Mr. Ridwan briefing the media said the operation Indian Ocean in some parts of the country is going smoothly adding that the federal government has taken over many areas from al-shabab.
He dismissed claims that the sacking of Somali intelligence chief Sanbalolshe has created rift between president Hassan Sheikh and prime minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed.
