President Hassan jets off to US to attend US-Africa leaders summit

The president of the republic of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and delegates headed to United states of America to attend US government and Africa leaders summit in Washington. President Hassan is accompanied by foreign affairs minister and other officials.

Over fifty African heads of states and government are expected to attend the august 4-6 summit which wide range themes including investment, security, development and governance will be focused.

it will also highlight the depth of the United States’ dedication to the African continent to press forward the shared priorities and enable discussion of tangible ideas to deepen the partnership.

The Summit is about cultivating stronger ties between the United States and African states.

This is the first summit of its kind Us president has held with African leaders.
