President Hassan Sheikh reinstates military ranks for ex-intelligence deputy

GOOBJOOG NEWS – MOGADISHU: President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has by Presidential decree reinstated Brigadier General Abdalla Abdalla Mohamed, all the ranks and military rights he had in the National Intelligence and Security Agency.
Brigadier General Abdalla Abdalla, a former deputy intel chief, was removed from his post and ranks following a rift between him and ex-NISA Director Fahad Yasin.
A statement by the Somali Presidency said the reinstatement followed a request submitted by Brigadier General Abdalla Abdalla Mohamed and the importance of restoring his rights and military ranks in accordance with the constitution and laws of the country.
