President Mohamud appoints new Chief of Staff

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Government of Somalia president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has appointed

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud appoints former political advisor to the president Abdihakim Mohammed Yusuf as the new Chief of Staff at the Villa Somalia presidential palace in Mogadishu.

Yusuf previously served as the Political Advisor to the President, with more than 20 years of experience in the areas of developing government institutions, good governance, strengthening conflict-affected states and communities, and human rights.

“Abdihakim is an example of the role that the Somali youth generation will play in rebuilding the state and achieving reconciliation among the people of Somalia in all its factions,” the president said in a statement while confirming his the appointment.
