President Mohamud Arrives In Djibouti for Bilateral Talks

GOOBJOOG NEWS | DJIBOUTI CITY: President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has arrived in Djibouti for talks with Ismail Omar Guelleh aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and discussing regional developments in the Horn of Africa.

President Mohamud, leading a high-level delegation, was received in Djibouti City at the start of an official visit focused on deepening cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.

The visit will include consultations on political, security and economic issues affecting the region, as well as efforts to expand collaboration between Mogadishu and Djibouti.

The two leaders are expected to discuss regional stability, economic cooperation and areas of mutual interest as Somalia continues to strengthen relations with partners in the Horn of Africa.

Somalia and Djibouti maintain close diplomatic and economic ties, with both governments frequently coordinating on regional security and development initiatives.
