President Mohamud Arrives in Kisimayo to Assess Various Projects in the Region  

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Republic of Somalia president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has arrived in Kismayo, the Transitional Center of Jubbaland, where he will assess the completion of the liberation of the areas under the control of the Al-shabaab militants, the development of the Federalization process and the observation of the living conditions of the Jubbaland people.

On arrival, president Mohamud was welcomed by the President of the Jubbaland region, Ahmed Islam Mohamed, Vice Presidents, members of the Jubbaland Government and hundreds of local residents.

During his stay in Kismayo, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will hold meetings with the heads of the Jubaland regional government and various sectors of society, listening to their advice on building a government, maintaining the unity and independence of the country.
