President Mohamud bids farewell to outgoing Ethiopian Ambassador

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud bade farewell Tuesday to the outgoing Ethiopian Ambassador to Somalia, Abdulfatah Abdullahi Hassan, whose tour of duty has ended.

The President commended Hassan for deepening relations between the two Horn of Africa countries and reassured the outgoing envoy of Somalia’s continued partnership with Ethiopia on the global stage.

The President also wished him success in his next endeavors. 

Ambassador Abdulfatah, who took office in May 2021, expressed gratitude to the Somali government for the support he received during his tenure and reassured Mohamud of Ethiopia’s deep commitment to the expansion of bilateral ties between the two nations.
