President Mohamud chairs National Consultative Council meeting

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MGADISHU: Federal Government of Somalia president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud today chaired a National Consultative meeting in Mogadishu.

The meeting which was convened to discuss the security situation in various regions in Somalia was attended by representatives from the Federal Government and the member states including the President of Jubbaland Ahmed Mhammed Islan, President of South West Abdizais Hassan Mohamed, President of Guldmudug Ahmed Abdi Kariye and the president of Hirshabelle Ali Abdullahi Hussein.

The leaders agreed to combine efforts in the second wave of the war against Al-Shabaab which is meant to liberate all parts of the country from the militants and also the debt relief program.
