President Mohamud Convenes Security Meeting to Review War on Terror
GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal government of Somalia president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud Sunday convened a security meeting in Mogadishu with top defense ministry and military officials.
The meeting was convened to discuss the security situation in the country and the ongoing war against the Al-Shabaab militant group.
During the session, Major General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhuddin, Commander of the Somali National Army, along with senior officers from various military branches, briefed the President on ongoing operations aimed at eradicating terrorism across the country.
The discussions focused on the progress and strategies being implemented to ensure national security and stability.
This meeting highlights the government’s commitment to strengthening the military’s capabilities and enhancing coordination in the fight against terrorism.
