President Mohamud in Uganda to witness training of Somali Forces

GOOBJOOG NEWS | UGANDA: The Federal Republic of Somalia president Mr, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is in Uganda to witness an ongoing training of units of the Somali Armed Forces.

President Mohamud thanked the Ugandan government for helping in training the Somali army and assisting in the fight against the Al-Shabaab militants.

He added that his government will continue efforts to enhance the capacity of the Somali armed forces to enable it to liberate the country from the Al-Shabaab.

The president further stressed the importance of reforming the army which he said plays an integral role in stabilizing the country.
