President Mohamud Mourns Artist Luul Jeylaani Ali

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Republic of Somalia president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has expressed his condolences to the family, relatives, and the Somali people on the passing of Luul Jeylaani Ali, a member of the Somali National Artists.

In his message, President Mohamud described the late Luul Jeylaani as a distinguished artist who played a vital role in Somali art and culture.

“Throughout her career in creativity and poetry, she dedicated her efforts to promoting patriotism, peace, and unity among the Somali people,” the president said.

President Mohamud prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the late Luul Jeylaani Ali, asking that her abode be Jannatul Firdaws, and for patience and faith for her family and the Somali art community during this difficult time.
