President Mohamud mourns former Deputy Prime Minister Mohamud Hurre Bubaa

GOOBJOOG NEWS | President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has sent his message of condolence to the family, relatives, and the entire Somali nation following the death of former prime minister Ismail Hurre Bubaa.

President Hassan pointed out that Prime Minister Hurre was a scholar and an expert who played a major role in strengthening the foreign policy of the country and rebuilding Somalia.

Bubaa served as foreign minister of the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia, from mid-2006 to early 2007. He was appointed to that position on August 21, 2006. He previously served as foreign minister from 2000 to 2002, during the beginning of the transitional government.
