President Mohamud pardons 127 inmates in Mogadishu prisons

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: President Hassan Sheikh Mohaud has pardoned close to 130 inmates in two prisons in Mogadishu in marking the Eid-l-Ftr celebrations.

The prisoners-127 of them were released from MBC prison in Ex-Control Agooye and Hamar Central prison got reprieve following the president’s pardon.

The release follows recommendations from the Office of the Attorney General which noted that the targeted inmates were petty offenders.
