President Mohamud picks advisor for prevention and countering  terrorism

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has on Saturday appointed Abdullahi Mohamed Nur as his senior advisor for prevention and countering violent extremism (PCVE).

Abdullahi Mohamed But has previously served the country as the Minister of Internal Security after his appointment by Prime Minister Roble’s government following the dismissal of Hassan Hundubay Jimale.

He has also served in various other capacities in government, including as a Minister of Finance in the Omar Abdirashid administration.
