President Mohamud Receives Credentials of Four New Ambassadors

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Republic of Somalia president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud Thursday received diplomatic credentials of four newly-appointed ambassadors at the Villa-Somalia presidential palace in Mogadishu.

The ambassadors who presented their credentials includes; Ambassador Alper Akta from Turkey, Ambassador K.K. Theshatha of Sri Lanka, Ambassador Marie Charlotte of the Philippines, and Ambassador Yeo Sung-jun of South Korea.

During the ceremony, President Mohamud welcomed the ambassadors and expressed his commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties and cooperation between Somalia and their respective nations.

The president highlighted the importance of fostering mutual understanding, partnership, and collaboration on various fields including; trade, security, and development.

The exchange of diplomatic credentials symbolizes the formal commencement of diplomatic relations between Somalia and the four represented countries.
