President Mohamud Visits SNA Airforce Trainees in Asmara Ahead of Return Home

GOOBJOOG NEWS/ASMARA: President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with Somali Airforce trainees in Asmara Wednesday ahead of his conclusion of a tour to Eritrea.

The President, alongside his Eritrean counterpart met with the trainee soldiers who are based at a military academy in the outskirts of the capital Asmara.

According to Eritrea’s Information Minister Yemane Meskel, the two leaders visited the Somali National Army trainees at Eritrean Air Force (EAF) HQ in Asmara.

Eritrea has been training thousands of Somali National Army soldiers since the first batch in 2018.
