Prime Minister Barre Announces Cabinet Reshuffle

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Republic of Somalia Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre Sunday announced a cabinet reshuffle.

In the reshuffle, Ahmed Moalim Fiqi moves to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation from the ministry of Interior and Federal Affairs, Ali Yusuf Ali was appointed the minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation.

Senator Abdullahi Sheikh Ismael is the new Minister of Internal Security while Abdullahi Bidhan Warsame was appointed as the Energy and Water minister.

The Posts, Communications and Technology ministry will now be under Mohamed Adan Moalim while Ahmed Omar Mohamed is the new State Minister for Environment and Climate Change.
