Prime Minister Roble condemns terrorist attack on parliament

GOOBJOOG NEWS/MOGADISHU: Somalia’s Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has strongly condemned today’s terrorist attack on parliament buildings as parliamentarians held a joint meeting in Villa Hargeisa, Mogadishu.
“Today’s attempt was a cowardly act aimed at intimidating the parliament which is in the process of fulfilling its constitutional mandate to cripple the election,” said Roble.
Prime Minister Roble commended both houses for the efforts they have put to ensure that elections are completed in time.
The Prime Minister also applauded the National Army for ensuring the nation’s security and called on the Commanders of the Armed Forces to redouble their efforts to ensure security is beefed up in the entire country, especially during this electioneering period.
