Prison’s boss survives bomb attack, three killed

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU:    Prison’s boss General Mahad Ibrahim has survived a bomb attack in Mogadishu that also claimed at least three lives and injured seven others.

The attack happened when a convoy escorting the prison’s chief snaked through the busy KM4. The pickup truck which is commonly used by Somali security forces is reported to have run into an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) around Abdi Qasim road off KM 4.

Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack on its affiliate media.
