Private talks in progress between Galmudug State and Ahlu Sunnah says state minister
Galmudug state minister for constitution and reconciliation Mohamed Ali So’dal indicated there are private talks in progress between his administration and Ahlu Sunnah geared towards unification of the two parties.
He pointed out the talks are indirect ones and there are other stakeholders who are interested to take part in the process in order for them to reach amicable solution.
Galmudug administration regard the issues of the talks to be private and none have been disclosed so far, a decision supported by the state president Ahmed Gelle Haf according to the minister So’dal.
“There exist private talks that we have with members from Ahlu Sunnah but not a disclosed one. The decision of the state president Haf regarding the talks is not one authorized to be revealed but according to the reports circulated these days are what the media got hold off from unknown sources” said minister So’dal.
This announcement by Galmudug state So’dal comes amid the recent publication of the talks between Galmudug and Ahlu sunnah passing in good stages with major differences agreed upon including administration capital, seats of the state parliament and judiciary.
