Public-private dialogue event opens in Mogadishu
Stakeholders from the private and public sector are meeting today in Mogadishu in the first economy-wide public-private dialogue aimed at leveraging on partnerships.
The two days event opened by Prime Minister Hassan Khaire will explore avenues through which governments, businesses, civil society and donors can promote private sector development, open governance, job creation and poverty reduction.
The event hosted by Ministry of Commerce and the Somali Chamber of Commerce brings together the top public and private sector representatives to agree on maximising the potential of Somalia’s key sectors, including ICT, energy, finance, trade and more
