Public transport en route to Lower Shabelle region stops due to heavy rains

The public transport to the major cities of Lower Shabelle region in Southern Somalia stopped due to heavy rain that has blocked the main roads.
The rain water with mud and stones has over flooded and blocked the roads linking the major cities of the region.
The effects of the rains was felt in Mogadishu, the capital as the vegetable supplies from the farms failed to reach the town immediately.
On the other hand the heavy rains have affected the internally displaced people in Mogadishu and its outskirts after their makeshift houses washed away by the floods.
