Puntland Forces Arrest Three Suspected Al-Shabaab Militants in Bosaso town

GOOBJOOG NEWS | BASSASO: Security forces at Bassaso city, Puntland state Sunday arrested three suspected Al-Shabaab militants during a targeted security operation.

The operation, according to Puntland officials was aimed at improve security in the region.

“Puntland Security Forces have conducted operations to improve security in Bosaso, Somalia. The objective was to identify and apprehend suspects who had been threatening local businesses. During the operation, the PSF successfully arrested three individuals believed to be involved in these threats,” PSF said on X Post.

The operation comes days after the Somali National Army and International Partners killed over 20 Al-Shabaab militants at Cal Madow area in Sanaag region.
