Puntland Forces Down Six ISIS Drones in Ongoing Operations

GOOBJOOG NEWS|PUNTLAND: Puntland Security Forces have shot down six drones used by the militant group, ISIS in the last 24 hours.

The operational command centre in charge of the ongoing military operations against the group said the forces brought down the drones, which ISIS used to monitor troop movements.

It added that the unmanned vehicles contained several military-grade equipment.

“In the last 24 hours, the troops shot down and destroyed 6 drones that the terrorists tried to use,” a statement from the Puntland command centre said.

The downing of the drones adds to an increasing number of drones seized by the Puntland forces as they intensify operations against the group.
