The president of semi autonomous state of Putland Abdiwali Mohamed Ali Gas talked about the agreement reached between the republic of Somalia and the breakaway state of Somaliland in Djiboutian capital.

President Gass stated that they  are against some of the agreed upon points during the talks in Djibouti.

He stated that Puntland was part of the airspace agreement but said that he is surprised to see that the federal government of Somalia and Somalia have tackled the issue alone.

“ I have started the airspace agreement while I was the minister for national planning of federal government, a tripartite agreement between Puntland, Somaliland and federal government was signed in Nairobi May 2011” president Gaas said.

“ The airspace should be handed over to Mogadishu since it’s the capital of Somalia or Garowe” he added.

When it comes talking the future of the country the federal government of Somalia and Somalia have no right to address alone, Puntland has to be part of every agreement reached.

On 21st of December the republic of Somalia and Somaliland state have agreement after two days talks in Djibouti.
