Puntland parliament approves amendment of electoral commission bill

Puntland parliament in an extra-ordinary meeting has on Tuesday passed the law of amending the electoral commission.

The cabinets has earlier has earlier approved the bill comprising of 26 points after they made amendments following the first version.

After long debate on the bill the members of  Puntland parliament voting, 24 MPs voted in favour of the bill while three members abstained.

Initially the act contained 24 point but after modification it reached 26 points.
