Puntland Police Arrest Suspect Who Stabbed Teenager to Death

GOOBJOOG NEWS|KARKAAR: Police in Karkaar region of Puntland have arrested a man suspected of killing a teenager.

The Karkaar regional command said the suspect identified as Osman Mahmoud Osman was arrested in Qardho town. He was accused of stabbing to death Zakaria Isse, 19 at a neighbourhood Wednesday night.

The circumstances surrounding the murder of the teenager remained unclear.

Police thanked members of the public for their collaboration leading to the arrest of the suspect few hours after the murder incident.

The suspect will be charged in a court of law.
