Qatar, Kuwait condemns Jowhar bombing
GOOBJOOG NEWS|DOHA: The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the bombing that targeted a hotel in the city of Jowhar, which led to deaths and injuries.
In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the State of Qatar’s firm position on the rejection of violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.
The Ministry also expressed the State of Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims, and the government and people of Somalia, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, Kuwait’s foreign ministry has also condemned Sunday’s bomb attack that injured several people including Hirshabelle minister of women Aasho Khalif Haji, minister of health Abdi Moalim and former deputy speaker of Hirshabelle regional parliament Anab Ahmed Isse.
In a statement, the ministry reiterated Kuwait’s ‘categorical and unwavering stance against violence and terrorism, calling on the international community to intensify efforts against the vice and rid humanity of its evils.
Kuwait expressed its condolences to the Somali government and its people, wishing those injured a quick recovery.
